Grace Sugg will be serving with MCN at Ascension Lutheran Church in Montreal, QC. God put missions into her heart when she was a Junior in Highschool after the passing of her older brother, Bo. During the months that Grace saw God work through her brother’s illness, she witnessed two things. The first being that God has power over all life and death. The second being what trusting God with your life to death is. Since then, God has continued to call Grace into a deepening, intimate relationship with her Heavenly Father.
Grace grew up in the small town of Carlyle, Illinois with her parents Matt and JoAnn and her older siblings Megan, Casey, and Bo, as well as surrounded and supported by her extended family and faith communities. She was raised in her tiny Lutheran churches and school, and when she grew excited for what God had next, she chose to attend Concordia University Wisconsin.
Grace began her time at Concordia Wisconsin with a major in nursing and a minor in missions. After wrestling with God for two years, she surrendered and accepted that nursing was not her calling. After studying theology, non-profit business, and missions, she will be graduating in May 2024 as a Director of Church Ministries.
Pray for Grace as she enters into God’s next season as He continues to grow and mold her. Pray for the Holy Spirit to lead conversations and revive hearts. In all, pray that God be glorified.
Any funds raised that exceed Mission Partner’s Total Cost of Missionary Service may be used to further support Mission Partner in missional activities, or Mission Partner may donate, after consultation with the Executive Director, any excess funds to one or more Mission Partners who are in good standing with MCN or to MCN’s General Fund. The purpose for this is that any funds raised are to support missional activities throughout the world.
