Hayden grew up in Effingham, IL. She graduated from Concordia University Nebraska in 2021 with degrees in Theology, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers Of Other Languages) and World and Intercultural Studies. While attending college, she participated in three cross-cultural experiences; two short-term mercy medical trips in Sierra Leone and a six-week student teaching experience in Shenzhen, China.
After graduating college, Hayden served a two-year term in the Czech Republic as a GEO missionary with LCMS Office Of International Missions. During this term of service, she taught ESL conversation classes in local public schools and led English conversation clubs and outreach opportunities. She also served online as a personal ESL instructor and tutor for seminary students attending Riga Luther Academy based in Riga, Latvia.
She lives and serves in Ethiopia and teaches ESL courses at the Mekane Yesus Seminary in the capital city of Addis Ababa. She is excited to join the work that God is doing among His people in Ethiopia.
Any funds raised that exceed Mission Partner’s Total Cost of Missionary Service may be used to further support Mission Partner in missional activities, or Mission Partner may donate, after consultation with the Executive Director, any excess funds to one or more Mission Partners who are in good standing with MCN or to MCN’s General Fund. The purpose for this is that any funds raised are to support missional activities throughout the world.
