Kayla Gundermann is a born-and-raised Midwestern Pastor’s Kid, who grew up continuously trying to find the joy in God’s surprises and everlasting love. As the oldest of three very Lutheran children, Kayla was extremely blessed to be raised in a close-knit household that spoke the Christian truth by Christ alone, Scripture alone, and by Faith alone.
Kayla graduated from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN with a Director of Parish and Church Music major, Theology, and Educational Outreach minors. The Gundermanns are a very musical family and as such, she has found a passion for building relationships through collaboration and traveling around the world to share the Gospel through the outlets of music and learning.
In her free time, when she can find it, Kayla thoroughly enjoys doing anything outdoors, playing piano and singing her heart out, embroidering, or playing any game anyone would teach her.
She is very excited to be working with Ascension Lutheran Church in Montreal, Quebec, reaching non-Christian immigrants and refugees, teaching ESL, and hosting community and fellowship events to provide opportunities to introduce the Word of God.

Any funds raised that exceed Mission Partner’s Total Cost of Missionary Service may be used to further support Mission Partner in missional activities, or Mission Partner may donate, after consultation with the Executive Director, any excess funds to one or more Mission Partners who are in good standing with MCN or to MCN’s General Fund. The purpose for this is that any funds raised are to support missional activities throughout the world.
