Serving Opportunity
Hong Kong has strong roots in traditional Chinese culture and religion, but it is also a global city where more than half of the population is not religious. There is a long history of Christian evangelism in Hong Kong and a large collection of Christian churches, schools, and other institutions, and yet the number of active Christians remains small.
The Hong Kong Lutheran Synod has 37 congregations and more than 30 Lutheran schools serving 22,000 students! They request mission partners to teach English and Bible classes in their schools, partner with churches for Christian education and outreach, and build relationships with teachers, students, and families for the sake of the Gospel.
