MCN sends Mission Partners to work with Solid Ground Student Ministries to cultivate a vibrant, Christ-centered community among college students (both local and international) and young adults that nurtures spiritual maturity, and equips disciples to share the Gospel and transform lives in Kalamazoo, MI and beyond.
Mission Partners work together with Solid Ground Ministries leadership and local partner churches. They serve a diverse group of individuals from high school through college / trade school and into young adulthood, including international students. The ministry objectives are to share the Gospel with believers and unbelievers, meet the spiritual needs of young adults, and disciple students into greater spiritual maturity.
You Will Be
- Building relationships with students and young adults
- Discipling a group of young adults to lead a Christ-centered life
- Networking with local churches and organizations
- Leading outreach events such as game nights, Bible studies, and discussion groups
- Using newsletters, websites, and social media to share ministry updates
