Grace grew up as a missionary kid and lived overseas in Jamaica as well as in South Korea for her formative years. During that time, she developed an appreciation for culture and a desire to reach the ends of the earth in proclaiming the Gospel.
While studying at Concordia University, Nebraska, Grace was involved in the Mission Minded Students club, an on-campus organization whose focus is to encourage and engage those interested in mission service. In the summers, she worked at a local bakery in her hometown of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and enjoyed pursuing culinary interests there. She graduated in 2022 with a degree in Elementary Education, an endorsement in teaching English as a Second Language, and a Lutheran Teacher’s Diploma.
Grace was called to work as a girls’ dorm supervisor and Fundamentals of English instructor in Concordia, Missouri, where she has served the last three years. God’s perfect timing has opened the door to Central Europe. She will be serving the community around her through English teaching, hospitality at a bed and breakfast, food preparation, and art ministry.
Her interests include writing, creating art, training for marathons, reading, and sharing a hot cup of tea or coffee with a friend. Please keep Grace in your prayers as she joyfully serves the Lord in Central Europe.
Any funds raised that exceed Mission Partner’s Total Cost of Missionary Service may be used to further support Mission Partner in missional activities, or Mission Partner may donate, after consultation with the Executive Director, any excess funds to one or more Mission Partners who are in good standing with MCN or to MCN’s General Fund. The purpose for this is that any funds raised are to support missional activities throughout the world.
