Missions is more than a job.
While position descriptions often talk about tasks like teaching an English class or leading youth activities, these tasks themselves are about building relationships – and every MCN mission partner would tell you that the best opportunities for gospel sharing come outside the “work day.”
Our mission partners have degrees in fields like teaching and theology but also math, engineering, finance, and public health. They include former nurses, business people, economists, and computer engineers. There is no one degree or background that qualifies someone to be a missionary.
You are already experienced at building relationships regardless of your work or educational background. And whether you directly use your degree on the mission field or not, every position involves opportunities to use your personal gifts and interests to build relationships and share the gospel.
