The law we see in the temptation for humanity to forget that we are eternal beings. We try managing God out of our lives so we can live comfortably in the flesh. We can’t avoid the truth that there is a God and a judgment day. Christians view eternity without fear because we were reconciled/justified before God.

This children’s message based on 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 helps children understand what the role of an ambassador is, what it means that believers are Christ’s ambassadors, and what it looks like for missionaries to be these ambassadors in a foreign culture.

Two children’s message options based on Matthew 9:35-38 help children think about the ripe harvest around the world and in their own neighborhood and who it is God calls to be workers in this harvest. Special emphasis is put on praying to the Lord of the Harvest!

This children’s message based on Isaiah 12 talks about different ways people around the world announce news. Then children learn how different missionaries share the good news of the Gospel with others. Finally children consider how they can announce this great news to others, too.

We are living today in a relationship with our creator. We are living today confident in God’s care for us now no matter how much or little we have. And by God’s grace we are confident in more than just a fountain of youth…we know of His promises of eternal glory. This news is too good to be kept to ourselves. We have been called to share it with all who don’t yet know our Lord’s ‘wells of salvation.’”

Pastor Mehl expounds upon the parable, challenges us to think about the barriers and fears that we have when it comes to inviting people into the Kingdom, and shares compelling missions stories from around the world.

This children’s message by former Slovakia mission partner and DCE, Jennifer Edwards, focuses on Matthew 22:1-10, the parable of the wedding feast. It tells children about the invitation God has extended to all people to celebrate with Him in eternal life and the call we all have to be part of sharing this invitation with others who haven’t heard.
