You are the light of the world… let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:14, 16

Sarah was born and raised in Manchester, Iowa but recently moved to Warrens, Wisconsin. Before moving to Wisconsin, she graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska in December of 2022 with a double major in psychology and behavioral science, along with a minor in music.

Doing missionary work abroad is new to Sarah. She has always served in her community and around the US throughout her life, but God planted a seed in Sarah during her time at CUNE. After quite a few months of searching, God opened a door and she went on her first mission trip overseas to the Dominican Republic in November-December of 2023. This experience opened her heart and mind to serving more outside of the United States. Sarah is excited to see how God will use her at Stronghold in Kampot, Cambodia this summer.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys exploring God’s beautiful creation by hiking, camping, and finding other dog-friendly activities to take her Miniature Goldendoodle, Ruby, along with her. She also loves spending time with her friends and family, especially when it comes to playing board games.

Please keep Sarah in your prayers and ask that Christ continues to use her as a light to reach others at home and around the world.

Any funds raised that exceed Mission Partner’s Total Cost of Missionary Service may be used to further support Mission Partner in missional activities, or Mission Partner may donate, after consultation with the Executive Director, any excess funds to one or more Mission Partners who are in good standing with MCN or to MCN’s General Fund. The purpose for this is that any funds raised are to support missional activities throughout the world.
