Jennifer Edwards was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; her family moved to Texas when she was two, and they have been there ever since. She is a daughter to Glenn and Kari, and is a sister of oldest sister Christina, brother-in- law Andrew, older sister Kathryn, and older brother David. She is also an aunt to her nephew Isaac.
She grew up attending church regularly, where her and her family were very involved. It was during her time in confirmation and Sr. High youth where she first felt the call to go into DCE (Director of Christian Education) ministry. In high school, she had the opportunity to travel to Germany for six weeks, as a part of an exchange program through her German class. While in Germany, Jennifer fell in love with traveling abroad, learning about different cultures, and the vast history of Europe. She began to see a need to reintroduce people all over Europe to the gospel, and hoped one day to return to begin sharing the good news! That trip was where Jennifer first began thinking and praying about overseas missions, Europe in particular.
Jennifer attended Concordia University Texas were she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education with an emphasis in Theology. She will begin serving her DCE internship as a mission partner with MCN in Slovakia.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – -Romans 8:38-39
Any funds raised that exceed Mission Partner’s agreed upon stipend amount will become the property of MCN. In the alternative, excess funds may be used to support Mission Partner in missional activities under a new MOU, or Mission Partner may assign, after consultation with the Executive Director, any excess funds to one or more Mission Partners who are in good standing with MCN. The purpose for this is that any funds raised are to support missional activities throughout the world, and not for the financial benefit of MCN.
