Joel and Sara Endorf both graduated from Concordia University in Seward, NE and currently reside in Seward. They have one daughter, Cora, who was born in January 2016. They both grew up on farms in the Midwest—Joel in Tobias, NE and Sara in Marysville, KS.
Joel has a handful of jobs that he loves—he works at a CPA office in town, helps a local produce farmer during the summer and fall and helps his dad during harvest. His absolute favorite, though, is teaching people about Biblical stewardship through his non-profit Finances God’s Way—Nebraska (a Compass, Finances God’s Way affiliate). Sara works part-time at the public library, but spends most of her days caring for her family at home.
In MCN, Joel and Sara take care of donation receipts, input information into the database and send all that info to the mission partners. God has given Joel a passion to support mission work, and they praise Him for giving Joel this long-awaited opportunity to get involved. Sara loves writing hand-written letters, so writing a personal thank-you on each donation receipt is a unique job God has fitted Sara for in His kingdom. They are in awe at how God can use their quirky and individual talents to bring glory to Him!
They like to spend their free time laughing with their daughter, going to Bible studies, playing board games with family and friends, visiting relatives, watching televised sporting events (mostly Joel), reading, crocheting (mostly Sara), and gardening (mostly Sara, again).
