Samantha Mueller is 22 years old and originally from Lakefield, Minnesota. Her family of six includes her parents, Rev. Bart and Jana Mueller, one older sister, Jill, and two younger siblings, Nicole and Brett. Growing up in such a close-knit family with Christian values and morals, Samantha has learned the power of unconditional love, forgiveness, and that who you surround yourself with matters. Her father was a Lutheran pastor, and, naturally, she grew up in the church and attended Lutheran grade school, high school and a Christian college.
She attended St. Paul Lutheran High School, which is a boarding school. This was the place that brought her out of her comfort zone, exposing her to diversity and challenging her faith in many ways. During her time she had the opportunity to go on short-term mission trips to Europe and China where she experienced new cultures, perspectives, and God working in new ways through her.
Samantha recently graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Her next step in life is to serve as a missionary in Hungary, teaching English and incorporating the Word into lessons and students’ lives. This will allow her to grow in faith and trust that God will guide her through this new chapter.
Samantha loves running, playing golf, spending time with her family, coffee, thrifting, and, most importantly, God.
Any funds raised that exceed Mission Partner’s agreed upon stipend amount will become the property of MCN. In the alternative, excess funds may be used to support Mission Partner in missional activities under a new MOU, or Mission Partner may assign, after consultation with the Executive Director, any excess funds to one or more Mission Partners who are in good standing with MCN. The purpose for this is that any funds raised are to support missional activities throughout the world, and not for the financial benefit of MCN.
