Caleb Rodewald was born in Liberia to Bible translation missionaries, but was quickly evacuated to Cote D’Ivoire due to the Liberian Civil War. The Rodewalds then moved to serve in the Kalanga Bible translation program in Botswana for 14 years before relocating once more to South Africa. These years in southern Africa were formative for Caleb as he watched his parents’ work in ministry and learned what it meant to serve in God’s mission.
After completing high school, Caleb attended college in the US to study art. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, as well as Illustration. He has used his gifts in design to service different small businesses and non-profit, religious organizations to provide outreach materials and communication design.
Caleb is excited for this opportunity to serve in God’s mission internationally, where he will be teaching English as a second language and witnessing his faith to the families of Sihanoukville, Cambodia the summer of 2018.
Any funds raised that exceed Mission Partner’s agreed upon stipend amount will become the property of MCN. In the alternative, excess funds may be used to support Mission Partner in missional activities under a new MOU, or Mission Partner may assign, after consultation with the Executive Director, any excess funds to one or more Mission Partners who are in good standing with MCN. The purpose for this is that any funds raised are to support missional activities throughout the world, and not for the financial benefit of MCN.
